We all said our goodbye's to Jon this past week. Jon was able to get us some great tickets to a Cubs game- 2nd row!!! We had a blast! It was Doreen's first visit to Wrigley! We also took an architectural tour downtown. We had such great weather! Friday we drove to Wisconsin where Chris and Jen met up with us. We had some cocktails and then some wine in our hotel room. Jon REALLY enjoyed himself!!!
Saturday Mom and Dad joined the crew and we all went out for a nice dinner, where Jon had a delicious steak! We were also able to see where Jon has been staying and his new equiptment.
The ceremony was sad, but we were all very proud of Jon. Jon planned the ceremony for the day and he did a great job!!
Thank you Jon for serving our country. I will miss you more than you know. Stay safe over there! I can't wait for your safe return home! Love you!
