It was an emotional weekend preparing for Jon's deployment. We stayed in Eau Claire,WI at a hotel that had a bar connected to it, so we spent a lot of time in there hanging out with guys (and girls:) from his unit. We went wine tasting, out to dinner, and just relaxed. It was a wonderful weekend, but the ceremony made all this seem so much more real. :(
